COME, LET\’S SAVE NATURAL RESOURCES!
கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் பிரியமானவர்களே,
கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் நாமத்தில், அன்பின் வாழ்த்துக்கள்!
தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் இந்த உலகத்தை சிருஷ்டித்தபோது, பல வகையான தாவரங்களையும், கனி கொடுக்கும் மரங்களையும் உண்டாக்கி, ‘அது நல்லது!’ என்று கண்டு, மனிதர்களாகிய நமக்கு அதைக் கொடுத்தார்.
தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் நமக்குக் கொடுத்திருக்கிற மரங்கள் மற்றும் தாவரங்கள் மூலமாகத்தான், நாம் உயிர் வாழத் தேவையான பிராண வாயுவையும் (ஆக்சிஜன்), நமது உடல் ஆரோக்கியத்திற்குத் தேவையான உணவையும் பெற்று வாழ்கிறோம். மேலும் மரங்கள், புவி வெப்ப மயமாவதைத் தடுப்பதோடு, நாம் இளைப்பாற நல்ல நிழலையும், பூமி செழிக்க மழையையும் கொடுக்கின்றன!
மரங்கள் இவ்வளவு சிறப்புகளையும் கொண்டிருப்பதால்தான், தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் அவைகளைப் பேனவும், பாதுகாக்கவும் நமக்கு கட்டளையிட்டு இருக்கிறார். ஆனால், தற்போதுள்ள மக்கள் தொகைப் பெருக்கம், நகர மயமாதல், சமூக விரோதச் செயல்கள் போன்ற காரணங்களால் ஏராளமான மரங்கள் வெட்டப்பட்டு, இயற்கை வளங்கள் அழிக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது.
இப்படியாக மரங்கள் அழிக்கப்படுவதால், புவி வெப்பமடைவதோடு, மனிதர்களுக்குத் தேவையான உணவு மற்றும் ஆக்சிஜனுக்கான பற்றாக் குறையும் நிலவுகிறது. இதை அனைத்து விஞ்ஞானிகளும், சமூக ஆர்வலர்களும் உறுதிப்படுத்துகின்றனர். இத்தகைய தீமைகளைத் தடுப்பதற்கு, உலகளாவிய அரசாங்கங்கள் பல்வேறு வழி முறைகளை மேற்கொண்டு வருகின்றன.
நமது நாட்டிலும், ‘மரம் வளர்ப்போம்! மழை பெறுவோம்!’, ‘இயற்கையைக் காப்போம்!’ போன்ற வாசகங்கள் சில ஆண்டுகளாகவே ஓங்கி ஒலித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது. மேலும், ‘வீட்டுக்கொரு மரம் வளர்போம்!’ என்கிற முழக்கம் மாறி, “ஆளுக்கொரு மரம் வளர்ப்போம்!” என்கிற முழக்கம் இன்று வழக்கமாகி வருகிறது.
ஆகையால், தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் நமக்குக் கொடுத்திருக்கிற இந்த இயற்கை வளங்களைப் பாதுகாப்பது, தேவ பிள்ளைகளாகிய நமது கடமையாகும். இதற்காக நாம் ஒன்றிணைந்து செயலாற்றினால், நமது சமுதாயத்தில் ஒரு பெரிய மாற்றத்தை ஏற்படுத்தி விட முடியும்.
எனவே, நமது புது வாழ்வு சங்கத்தோடு இணைந்து, உங்கள் பகுதிகளில் உங்களால் முடிந்தவரை தனி நபராகவோ, குழுவாகவோ சேர்ந்து ஏராளமான மரக் கன்றுகளை நட்டு, அதை பராமரித்து வளர்க்க வேண்டும். நீங்கள் இந்த மரம் நடும் பணியை செய்வதோடு, இந்தக் காரியத்தில் மற்றவர்களையும் ஊக்கப்படுத்தி, அவர்கள் மூலமாக ஏராளமான மரங்களை நட வைத்து, அதை பராமரிக்கச் செய்யலாம்.
நமது புது வாழ்வு சங்கத்தின் மூலமாக, ஏராளமான மரக் கன்றுகளை மக்களுக்குக் கொடுத்து, அவர்களை ஊக்கப்படுத்துகிறோம். கனி தரும் மரங்களாகிய மா, பலா, நாவல், கொய்யா, புளி போன்ற மரக் கன்றுகளோடு, நிழல் தரும் மரங்களாகிய புங்கை, வேம்பு போன்ற மரக் கன்றுகளும் நடப்பட்டு, பராமரிக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது.
நமது நாட்டில் நடைபெற்ற 75வது சுதந்திர தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு, 75,000 மரக் கன்றுகளை பல்வேறு பகுதிகளில் நட தீர்மானித்து, கடந்த (2021) ஆகஸ்ட் 15 சுதந்திர தினத்தன்று இதற்கான பணிகளை துவக்கி உள்ளோம். மேலும், பல பகுதிகளில் மரக் கன்றுகளை நட்டி, அவைகளை பராமரித்து வருகிறோம். ஏராளமான தேவ பிள்ளைகளும், தன்னார்வலர்களும் இந்தப் பணியில் மிகுந்த உற்சாகமாக செயல்பட்டுக் கொண்டு இருக்கின்றனர். நீங்களும் இந்த மரம் வளர்க்கும் திட்டத்தில் எங்களோடு இணைந்து செயலாற்றலாம்.

Loving greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
When God created the earth, he created diverse types of plants and fruit giving trees, saw that it was good and gave it for man.
We receive oxygen and essential food grains through the God given plants and trees. Apart from prevention of global warming, vegetation provides shade to our rest along with rain for earth’s prosperity!
God has commanded us to maintain and secure vegetation because they give enormous benefits to humanity. The wealth of natural resources is deteriorating due to human population explosion, urbanization, anti-social activities and deforestation.
Deforestation results in global warming, and food shortage and shortfall in oxygen supply for human to breath. Scientists and social activists have confirmed to this. Governments of the nations of the world have undertaken various remedial measures to prevent such evils.
Slogans like “Grow Trees! Get Rain!”, “Save Nature!” have been ringing loudly. Furthermore, the slogan “One Tree One House!” is changed now as “One Person One Tree”. Hence children of God are duty bound to unite for the conservation of these God given natural resources. If we work together for this cause, we can bring a vast transformation in our society.
So, you can join along with our New Life Society in planting and nurturing numerous saplings as far as possible as an individual or as a group. You can plant saplings and encourage others as well to plant saplings and nurture them.
We’ve given away numerous saplings to people on behalf of the New Life Society and encourage them in this direction. Saplings of fruit giving trees like mango, jack fruit, black plum, guava, tamarind and shade giving trees like neem and Indian beech tree have also been planted and nourished.
In commemoration of the 75th Independence Day (August 15th) of our country we’ve intended to plant 75,000 tree saplings in various places across our country and have begun the preparatory works for that. We are also planted and nurturing many saplings in different places. Many children of God and social activists are participating cheerfully in this effort. You too can join in this tree planting scheme along with us!
